Brand Identity + Creative System.
Girls Academy League partnered with Launch Original to develop a bold brand guideline system that could define the league’s visual identity, messaging, and creative direction across digital media, event promotion, club communication, and player-centered campaigns.
The project was built around a clear mission: “To honor a true commitment, in the pursuit of excellence, to the player above all things; the athlete and the person.” This statement became the foundation for a brand system centered on commitment, excellence, player voice, and female athlete development.
Launch Original created a complete Girls Academy brand book designed to give the league a confident, recognizable, and scalable identity. The work included mission alignment, tagline development, logo usage, color direction, typography, graphic treatments, pattern systems, and visual applications.
The creative direction was built around the league’s position as a player-focused platform for elite female soccer players. The messaging system introduced multiple campaign lanes, including “We The Players,” “For The Players,” and “On A Mission,” allowing the brand to speak from the perspective of the athlete, the clubs, and the league itself.
The final system created a strong balance between competitive performance, female empowerment, and league professionalism.
Girls Academy needed a brand identity that could feel elite, modern, and player-first while still serving the broader needs of a national youth soccer league.
The challenge was to create a system that could speak to multiple audiences at once: players, clubs, families, coaches, college programs, league leadership, and the broader soccer community. The brand needed to feel strong enough for national-level competition, but personal enough to stay connected to the individual journey of each athlete.
Another key challenge was creating visual elements that could stand apart in a crowded youth soccer landscape. The brand needed to avoid looking generic while still being flexible enough for events, social campaigns, league announcements, player recognition, and club-facing communication.
The main objective was to create a complete brand identity system that positioned Girls Academy as a modern, player-centered league with a clear voice and powerful visual language.

Launch Original delivered a bold, unified brand system that gave Girls Academy a stronger national identity and a clearer player-first voice.
The final direction centered on the league’s mission, supported by key messaging platforms like “We The Players,” “For The Players,” and “On A Mission.” The visual system combined strong red, blue, and white brand colors, bold typography, gradient treatments, and a custom triangle-based pattern inspired by the GA shield and female player silhouette.
The result was a scalable creative platform built for league campaigns, events, digital storytelling, player recognition, and long-term brand growth.
